Terms
Short version: use Winny in the spirit it's meant — a calm, anti-shame habit app for your own life. Don't try to break it or resell it. We provide it as-is, do our best to keep it working, and can't promise it's perfect. The rest of this page is the long version, in plain words.

Who we are
Winny is made and operated by the team behind getwinny.app. When this page says “we” or “us,” that's who we're talking about. When it says “you,” that's the person using the Winny app or this website.
Using Winny
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use Winny on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. That licence lasts as long as you follow these terms.
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code of the app, except where the law says you're allowed to;
- rent, sell, sublicence, or repackage Winny as part of another product;
- use Winny to break the law, harass anyone, or do anything that would harm other users, us, or third parties;
- interfere with the app or website, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it through automated scrapers or bots.
If you find a security issue, please email us before doing anything else — we'd rather hear from you than read about it later.
Your wins, your data
Everything you type into Winny stays on your device. We don't have accounts and we don't hold your wins on a server. That means you're responsible for your own backups — if you delete the app or lose your phone without a backup, your data goes with it. The full story is in our Privacy page.
Purchases and the App Store
Winny is distributed through the Apple App Store. Any download, purchase, subscription, or refund goes through Apple and is also governed by Apple's Media Services Terms. If a paid feature ever stops working as described, contact us first — we'll try to make it right.
Not medical or professional advice
Winny is a habit-tracking tool, not a therapist, doctor, or coach. Nothing in the app or on this site is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If something in your life needs a professional, please talk to one.
Our content
The Winny name, the trophy mark, the “Just Keep Winning” method language, the site copy, and the app design are ours. You can link to getwinny.app and share screenshots of your own wins freely — please don't reuse our brand assets to imply we endorse something we don't.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Winny and getwinny.app available and working well, but we can't promise zero downtime or zero bugs. We may update, change, or retire features over time. If we make a material change to the app or these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and flag big changes in the app or by email if you've written to us.
Ending things
You can stop using Winny any time by deleting the app — no account to cancel, no exit interview. We may suspend or end your access if you're using Winny in a way that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. If that happens, we'll try to tell you why.
As-is, and limits on liability
Winny and getwinny.app are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Winny. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Winny in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded — for example, for fraud or for rights you have as a consumer under local law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we're established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you're a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
